Wooden Coffee Scoop
This coffee scoop is handmade by Christopher, a 42-year-old from Machakos. He began his woodworking journey as a sander and grew into a carver. Since 2006 Christopher has been living and working in Kibera. Each scoop is unique and each piece of olive wood is carefully selected from Narok County and can take up to 2 hours to carve.
— Material: Olive Wood
— Each Scoop captures 7g of coarse-ground coffee. Use two scoops (14g) per cup of coffee. A typical 500ml french press/plunger requires 4 scoops of 28 (g) to make two cups of coffee.
— Handcrafted in Kenya
